Engineering Lab, Science Kit For Kids 8+ With 12 Experiments

Engineering Lab is a hands-on science kit that lets children aged 8 and up see how engineers solve real problems with science and maths.

Who it is for and what it solves

This kit is designed for curious kids who like to take things apart, build and test how they work. It turns abstract ideas such as force, friction and leverage into 12 experiments a child can build and try out at home, from paper planes and racers to a working scissor lift and excavator. Pneumatics and hydraulics are explored with syringes and flexible tubes, and a magic maths machine adds a puzzle-solving twist. It is a good choice for a rainy afternoon, a birthday gift or a first step into STEM for one or two players.

Benefits

• Develops logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Introduces force, friction, simple machines, pneumatics and hydraulics
• Builds fine motor skills through assembling wooden and plastic parts
• Encourages testing, observing and improving a design
• Everything needed for the 12 experiments is included
