The School of Seven Gnomes is a system, not a set of books. The complex of 6 books in the Basic Course is aimed at developing a child's cognitive abilities: cognitive interest, the ability to think, analyze, and draw conclusions.

The Basic Course consists of 6 books covering key developmental areas (speech, counting, fine motor skills, logic, literacy, thinking) and developmental games to reinforce the material (game board, tokens, and game scenarios).

The system is designed so that the child receives the necessary knowledge at the right moment. Therefore, all books in the School of Seven Gnomes have a clear age designation and are developed strictly according to the child's age-specific abilities. But the most important thing is that activities with the child yield results and bring joy. Therefore, all tasks are structured from simple to complex and follow the principle of "development through play." Any adult can engage with the child; no special knowledge or experience is required. The parent's page in each book will suggest what, how, and why needs to be developed at a given age.

Moreover, it's very difficult to get lost in the School of Seven Gnomes, as each age corresponds to its own color and its own hero. Throughout the child's learning journey, they are accompanied by seven Gnomes — characters modeled after children of the corresponding age. A five-year-old child is accompanied by the color orange and the gnome Dolka.
